Hello from the snow-covered Quinnipiac University campus! We are excited to be spending our semester telling your stories and sharing about events and occurrences that affect you.
HQNN is an entirely student-run online publication that lets Quinnipiac senior journalism students experience real newsroom culture while also providing information that is useful to the community. We will be covering news in Hamden and on the Quinnipiac campuses with a particular focus on where the town and the university intersect.

Here we will be sharing our written work as well as videos, graphics and more. Our mission is to be a go-to source for reliable information to help you better understand your town and campus while learning more about journalism along the way.
As the semester goes on, we will be posting long-form stories that the students have written as the final project of their college career. These will feature in-depth reporting on issues relating to Quinnipiac, New Haven County and even the state as a whole.
Throughout our college journey, we have become a part of the Hamden community and we are very excited to have the chance to tell its stories.
