After spending Tuesday afternoon wishing for an election score update that doesn&#8217;t exist, Leng found out he will remain Hamden&#8217;s mayor after beating republican candidate Salman Hamid.<\/p>\n<p>Leng <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ctmirror.org\/2017\/11\/07\/election-results-reported-by-municipalities\/\">received 74 percent of the votes<\/a> to earn another term in office.
