The employee was let go the week of the incident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ct.gov\/doag\/lib\/doag\/marketing_files\/11._food_safety_3-27-2009.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Connecticut Public Health code<\/a> outlines inspection violations can include anything regarding improper sanitization, improper food temperatures, or cross-contamination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cYou could have an A and have 10 different violations or get a C with just two violations, it just depends on the type of violation,\u201d Reilly said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Reilly further noted that the Eli\u2019s staff does line checks daily, but was not able to catch these issues because the sanitarian arrived beforehand. <\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Going forward, Reilly looks to regain Eli\u2019s A status. \u201cI\u2019m not going to change anything, this is a blip. We do things properly, this is human error that should of never happened.
