Pickron and Pickney would often connect with each other in their high school days for alley-oop plays.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Pickron compared Pickney\u2019s personality on the court versus off the court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cHe\u2019s very different. On the court, he\u2019s focused and determined,\u201d Pickney said. \u201cAs a person, he\u2019s just laid back and chill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">If basketball never became Pickney\u2019s top passion, both Pickney and Pickron referenced a back-up plan.
