Connecticut mosquito<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Two people have died after contracting EEE in Old Lyme and East Lyme. State health officials are urging residents to be cautious of this mosquito-borne virus.<\/p>\n

Quinnipiac\u2019s Emergency Management Team sent out an alert<\/a> on Friday following statewide concern. The alert read, \u201cAs a precaution, Quinnipiac is rescheduling all athletic and university-sponsored events that are scheduled to take place from dusk to dawn until further notice because of public health alerts regarding Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE).\u201d <\/p>\n

On Monday, Student Health Services will provide mosquito repellant for students.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) tests bugs across the state for EEE. <\/p>\n

East Lyme<\/p>\n

Groton<\/p>\n

Haddam<\/p>\n

Hampton<\/p>\n

Killingworth<\/p>\n

Ledyard<\/p>\n

Lyme<\/p>\n

Madison<\/p>\n

Montville<\/p>\n

North Stonington<\/p>\n

Old Lyme<\/p>\n

Plainfield<\/p>\n

Salem<\/p>\n

Shelton<\/p>\n

South Windsor<\/p>\n

Sterling<\/p>\n

Stonington<\/p>\n

Voluntown<\/p>\n
