Photo by Bryan Proctor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Emotions ran high at the Hamden Police Commission meeting Wednesday night Nov. 14, as one hundred protesters attended the event to voice their concerns about Hamden officer Devin Eaton. Photo by Bryan Proctor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cYou have the power to act,\u201d said Kerry Ellington, Hamden Action Now activist. \u201cThe felony charges presented against officer Eaton provide adequate evidence and just cause to discharge him now, and it did yesterday, and it did months ago.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Even though Eaton was charged, the Hamden Police Department still has him on the force. That does not sit well with protesters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cToday I want to say it is unconscionable that Devin Eaton continues to be employed by the Hamden police force. I have grandchildren. That behavior is unacceptable from anyone.
