Many international students, athletes, members of the pep band or students who have jobs in Connecticut don\u2019t find it financially or physically possible to go all the way home for a few days and then come back to then just go right back home two weeks later for winter break.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">One member of the pep band, Evangelia Markoulis, isn\u2019t a fan of having to stay late or come back early from break because she says it difficult to get things cause you feel trapped and all alone. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cYea it gets hard to find food, especially if you don\u2019t have a car because then you\u2019re pretty restricted to like the food in your fridge or spending $20+ on food in your own cash,\u201d said Markoulis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div\n        class=\"\n          image-block-outer-wrapper\n          layout-caption-below\n          design-layout-inline\n          combination-animation-none\n          individual-animation-none\n          individual-text-animation-none\n        \"\n        data-test=\"image-block-inline-outer-wrapper\"\n    ><\/p>\n<figure\n            class=\"\n              sqs-block-image-figure\n              intrinsic\n            \"\n            style=\"max-width:1650.0px;\"\n        ><\/p>\n<div\n              \n                style=\"padding-bottom:77.64109802246094%;\"\n              \n              class=\"\n                image-block-wrapper\n                \n          \n        \n                has-aspect-ratio\n              \"\n              data-animation-role=\"image\"\n              \n  \n\n          ><br \/>\n            <noscript><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/hqnn.org\/hqpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1.png\" alt=\"1.png\" \/><\/noscript><img class=\"thumb-image\" data-src=\"http:\/\/hqnn.org\/hqpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1.png\" data-image=\"http:\/\/hqnn.org\/hqpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/1.png\" data-image-dimensions=\"1650x1275\" data-image-focal-point=\"0.5,0.5\" alt=\"1.png\" data-load=\"false\" data-image-id=\"5dd55d14c749c3051a3222c4\" data-type=\"image\" \/>\n          <\/div>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">In order to help students on campus who are stuck over the Thanksgiving break we\u2019ve compiled a list of things to do and places to eat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><strong>Many places close down on Thanksgiving in order to give their employees a break, but here is a list of restaurants that stay open for Thanksgiving and that are in close range to Quinnipiac\u2019s campus.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Another issue students face on top of finding food, is being bored. Most of the campus goes home, so the students who stay no longer have their friends to hang out with and pass the time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cIt gets so boring being here alone sometimes,\u201d said Margoulis, \u201cYou\u2019re so used to seeing life on the campus and then it\u2019s just pretty dead.
