The Hamden mayoral primary is on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and there are several designated voting locations in each of the nine districts, including libraries, schools and community centers.
The two candidates running in the primary are incumbent Lauren Garrett and Walter Morton and the nine polling locations are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Residents must bring identification and proof of where they live to vote in person. Alternatively, they can register to vote online using the online voter registration system by 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 7, according to the Town of Hamden.
